This canal home was designed and built to be a weekend residence for the client. Traditional coastal cottages inspired the design, and care was given to maximize the efficient use of square footage. A general contractor who was very familiar with building practices on the Gulf Coast, the clients built their own home and paid close attention to interior selections that give the house a richer feel with depth and layers.
