This 3400SF home was designed as a family vacation spot for the Dallas residents. With four bedrooms, a flex room with murphy bed on the second floor, and a viewing room on the third floor for stargazing, this home comfortably accommodates all generations. A primary focal point for the client was the kitchen. Equipped with a 60” range and a 54” side by side refrigerator and freezer, the kitchen developed around the specific appliances chosen in the beginning of design. The open concept living/dining/kitchen spaces run across the south portion of the house, enclosed by a wall of windows that maximizes the Gulf views and opens onto decks that run the full length of the house on the first and second living floors. As with other homes in this neighborhood, the house aesthetic reflects the client's coastal cottage style, and the exterior speaks to the more traditional residential architecture of the Pointe West development.
